Our Story

2013
  • The Concept of Student Unique Card is born as the 9th Startup idea by the Founder after failing 8 Startups under the mentorship of NovlEdge Entrepreneurs
  • Development of a prototype for STUDENT UNIQUE CARD with the assistance of freelancers.
2014
  • STUDENT UNIQUE CARD partners with 14 schools as a pilot project to test and refine the student identification and services platform
  • Secures 20 lakhs in angel funding to support further development and expansion.
2015
  • Incorporation of STUDENT UNIQUE CARD as a company and establishment of a full-time office.
  • Hiring of Kalpana as the first employee, assuming the role of a customer support executive.
  • Recruitment of 20 executives across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
  • Receiving over 3 lakhs in card bookings, despite facing challenges in production and delivery.
2016
  • Initiating deep technological research and development, focusing on automation.
  • Launching the Student Unique Card mobile app and web platform.
  • Establishment of an in-house production unit and warehouse.
  • Securing 60 lakhs in angel funding.
  • Successful delivery of over 1 lakh smart cards.
2017
  • Partnership with over 500 schools, expanding the reach of Student Unique Card.
  • Acquisition of 1 crore in angel funding.
2018
  • Expansion of operations to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
  • Entry into the Dubai market, marking the first international expansion.
  • Obtaining 1 crore in angel funding.
2019
  • Significant reduction of expenditure by 90% through deep automation.
  • Collaboration with over 1500 schools.
  • Recognition by Josh Talks.
2020
  • Achievement of serving 2000 schools and colleges.
2021
  • Bagged “Best Ed-Tech of the year 2021” award in New Delhi
  • Start of the deep financial crunch phase due to Covid situation.
2022
  • Facing a deep financial crisis due to the impact of COVID-19.
2023
  • Awarded as the best EdTech of the year in Malaysia.
  • Receipt of 1 crore in angel funding.
  • Launch of AI face attendance technology.
